Collaboration of MAK Projects with Canadian Wood to develop and promote sustainable wood housing and buildings in Hyderabad

MAK Projects entered into an MOU with Canadian Wood - A Crown agency of Government of British Columbia, the westernmost province of Canada to develop and promote sustainable wood housing and buildings in Hyderabad, India.

The aim of the pilot project is to promote sustainable development by focusing on three key areas:

using sustainable resources

designing sustainable homes

emphasizing on low carbon lifestyles

connecting people with nature.

The construction of the first Canadian Wood house - a pilot project- has already commenced in MAK-BTR Greens. The formal launch of this house is on 8th October, 2021. The construction would be completed by January, 2022 within a span of less than six months.
