Deepali is an international development professional with extensive experience spearheading not-for-profit and philanthropic operations across global foundations, rights-based organizations, and multilaterals, including the Rockefeller Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, and Plan International. She is widely experienced in managing portfolios worth USD 1 billion across varying geographies and driving significant partnerships.
Deepali yields immense technical expertise and leadership across strategic planning, grant making and cultivating strong working relationships with government agencies, private sector, academia, media and CSOs; policy advocacy and thought leadership; and delivering high impact within tight deadlines and budgets.
Deepali also serves on the advisory committees/boards of the CovidActionCollab, Plaksha Centre for Clean Energy, and the Global Alliance on Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME). She is also a founding member of South Asia Women in Energy (SAWIE) and has formerly co-chaired the Post Primary Donor Network at the Centre for Universal Education at Brookings Institution.
